Elsie was the inspiration to a significant shift in my life that lead to my current life as a full-time artist. The mural I did of Elsie in 2014 was the beginning of a journey that has resulted in over 2,800 paintings that are scattered around the globe. I was called to paint her again as a step to reclaiming the fearlessness I had back in those early days of painting portraits.

Net proceeds of the sale of this painting will be donated to the Centre of Hope in Fort McMurray.
