Join our circle, a place where community connection means something.

Birdsong Studio, located in the historic downtown district of Okotoks, 15 minutes south of Calgary, is inviting you to join our Artists Circle, a community of like-mind individuals who love everything about art. Within this creative community, various opportunities, including artist residencies, retreats, workshops, mentorship, and studio time, are yours to enjoy.

One of the ways you can join the circle is by becoming a Studio Associate.

We believe in the magic of Birdsong Studios and the gift of community. Both contain and exude undeniable energy. Being immersed in and surrounded by art invites possibility and provides freedom to dream, and play with colour, value, texture, composition, balance, imbalance, simplicity, and complexity.

 

We believe that every artist, young and old, has a unique voice that deserves to be heard and amplified. Sometimes all a person needs is permission to play and explore and a place to do it. We have the place. We are ready to design a studio experience that fits you and wherever you are in your creative journey.

 

For art lovers, we have included an opportunity to become part of our inner circle and receive the special benefits of being a valued Birdsong community member. Birdsong Studios thrives because of you, our fans and supporters, so this is just one way we can give back to the people who love our work most.

MASTER LEVEL

  • Perfect for the artist ready to take their practice and/or art business to the next level

  • Weekly access to Birdsong Studio

  • Professional mentorship

  • Opportunity to participate in Birdsong Studio sales events (pop-ups, markets, online auctions, etc.)

  • 30% discount on regularly priced Birdsong original paintings and canvas prints (not to be used in combination with special sales or discounts)

  • Type of Membership: Annual

  • $1,000 per year or $100 monthly for 12 months (plus GST)

APPRENTICE LEVEL

  • This is a great level for emerging artists who want to strengthen their skills

  • Monthly access to Birdsong Studio

  • Professional mentorship during studio sessions

  • 25% discount on regularly priced Birdsong original paintings and canvas prints (not to be used in combination with special sales or discounts)

  • Type of Membership: Annual

  • $500 per year or $60 monthly for 12 months (plus GST)

EXPLORER LEVEL

  • Perfect for aspiring artists wanting a custom painting experience in Birdsong Studio

  • One: 3-hour painting session

  • Professional mentorship and guidance during studio sessions

  • 10% one-time discount on regularly priced original paintings and canvas prints (not to be used in combination with special sales or discounts)

  • Type of Membership: One Time

  • Investment: $75 per 3hr studio session (plus GST)

 

ART LOVER LEVEL

  • Perfect for art lovers and regular customers who want first dibs on new work

  • Know that your membership helps us support other artists

  • Early access to new work and sales

  • Be the first to receive a quarterly newsletter with upcoming events and features

  • 10% permanent discount on regularly priced original paintings and canvas prints (not to be used in combination with special sales or discounts)

  • Type of Membership: Annual

  • Investment: $100 per year (plus GST)
