The night she finally trusted her instincts, the city felt like a canyon of colour. She walked beneath towering shadows—inky blues and midnight purples—while a pulse of fuchsia hummed like a secret she was ready to say out loud. Rain slid down glass in long, vertical rivers; the world blurred, then clarified, then blurred again. In that soft confusion, she began to notice the quiet circles that kept returning to her life: a coffee ring on a beloved sketchbook, the moon caught in a window, the breath that steadied her hand.

She started the painting the same way she walked that night, intuitively, without a map. Layers went down like weather: a wash of storm, a veil of mist, a decisive dark. Scribbles threaded through the composition like conversations she’d been having with herself for years. Then, almost mischievously, she placed the pale ovals (portals, bubbles, small thresholds of light) drifting upward as if buoyed by their own belief.

“Wow Factor” is the moment before a leap, when the room tilts and colour takes the lead. It’s the courage to follow a bright signal through the deep, to let wonder interrupt the script, and to surface with something luminous cupped in both hands.
