This painting was inspired by photos taken by Byung Chi in January 2026. He shared several shots of this incredible view of the Alberta Foothills and Rockies beyond. I am in love with the colours offered up by Mother Nature during these winter months.

This was Week 6's contribution to my 52 Week Landscapes and Landmarks painting challenge in support of the charity Bracelets For Buildings. One hundred dollars from the purchase of this painting will be donated to help fund the construction of a home for a family living in dire poverty in rural Cambodia.
