George Wendt made his way into our hearts one sudsy brew at a time in a bar called Cheers on the NBC series that ran from 1982 to 1993. He played the lovable Norm Peterson on one of the most popular sitcoms of that period. This portrait was done on the day after his passing at the age of 76.
